Joe initiated his safety background in both labour and management safety positions with CN. Over 13 years he has enhanced his ability to get results through safety program development and delivery at both the corporate and field level. He is adept at understanding and engaging stakeholders through a "big picture" view and logical next step focus.

Joe is an energetic classroom trainer who has developed and delivered training in-house and for the University of Alberta (U of A) Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Certificate Program. His passion for safety and experience at delivering continuous momentum, provides a real world balance of theory and practical application. He has a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing an organization that is striving to enhance their OH&S results and a long track record of facilitating safety success. Joe has a Certificate in OH&S from the U of A and volunteers on the curriculum development committee.
